So bummed this morning I woke up and my beautiful dominant male was dead at the bottom of the tank. I have no idea why this happened and I need help figuring out why!
I had my tank (~70liters) running for three weeks before I bought the three Pseudotropheus Salosi (2 F 1 M) and this is the second week they have been in there. They were getting along pretty well, if anything the one that was most harassed was the largest of the females. I noticed the male had stopped eating about 2-3 days ago (in the beginning they were all ravenous) and without any more changes I found him dead today. The body doesn't have any signs of disease or anything strange that I can tell.
Please help |

fish that stop eating are either stressed or have the dreaded hexamita parasite... _________________
