Fish Size min 6" - max 7" Inches
Min Tank Size 75 Gallons
General Information Located in the northern section of the lake. Found mostly in sandy areas. Diet in the wild consists of invertebrates taken from the sand.

The aquarium should have some rockwork but still provide open swimming space both along the bottom and mid-tank region. Forming caves in the aquarium will greatly benefit this species and bring out its natural behavior. Feed a quality cichlid flake/pellet food, supplement occasionally with frozen brine, krill or mysis.

A rare species in the lake.
